A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 1520
WHICH APPROVED A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
APPLICATION AS SUBMITTED BY TOM CARLYLE
WHEREAS, on October 9, 1989 the Port Orchard City Council
did approve Resolution No. 1520 allowing construction of 233
mini -storage units on property located in the Northwest corner of
State Highway 160 and the high school access road as petitioned by
Tom Carlyle, and
WHEREAS, subsequently on June 12, 1990 Tom Jeatran and
Richard Granquist, owners of record, petitioned the City of Port
Orchard for a Special Use Permit to allow construction of 425
mini -storage facility on property located in the Northwest corner of
the State Highway 160 and the high school access road intersection,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard Planning Commission and
the City Council held public hearings on July 16, 1990 (PC) and
August 13, 1990 (CC) and did approve Resolution No. 1550 which allows
construction of 425 mini -storage facility.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 25, Township 24 North,
Range 1 East WM, Kitsap County: The northerly 405
feet of that portion of the southeast quarter of the
southwest quarter of said section, described as
follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of the
east half of the southeast quarter of said southwest
quarter; thence north 660 feet, thence east 209
feet; thence south 627 feet; thence west 197 feet;
thence south 33 feet; thence west to the point of
beginning; except State Highway 14 (SR160) along the
south boundary.
