A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL
USE PERMIT TO BETTY LLOYD FOR PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 504 AUSTIN STREET FOR A SPECIFIC USE OF A
PARCEL OF PROPERTY WHICH IS IN HARMONY WITH THE
VARIOUS ELEMENTS OR OBJECTIVES OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND IS NOT DETRIMENTAL TO
EXISTING USES PERMITTED IN THAT PARTICULAR ZONE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
THAT: Whereas the City Planning Commission has held the
required public hearings in accordance with the criteria set
forth in Chapter 6 (Special Use Permits) of Ordinance No. 1469,
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Port Orchard, and,•
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended
approval of the application by Betty Lloyd, located at 504 Austin
Street, and has recorded with the City Clerk their decision
setting forth their findings and recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port
Orchard does adopt Planning Commission Resolution No. 169-91,
with Findings, Facts and Conclusions as their own and hereby
approves the issuance of a Special Use Permit to allow conversion
of a single family residence to professional offices located at
504 Austin with the following conditions: (1) Exterior
expansion of the structure is prohibited unless approved by the
City Council in accordance with conditions imposed by the Zoning
Ordinance, Chapter six; (2) advertisement by pole and monument
sign is prohibited; (3) basement area shall not be used for
office purposes and only as storage space; (4) onsite parking
shall not be less than one space for each 400 sq. ft of gross
floor area as calculated by the floor area above the basement, as
in accordance with the conditions imposed by Ordinance No. 1469,
Chapter 6,
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 26, Township 24, Range 1
East: Lot 9, Block 5 of S.M. Steven's Town Plat of Sidney,
according to Plat recorded in Volume 11 page 1, records of Kitsap
County, Washington.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard,
APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 9th day of Septemb , 1991.
