1588 - Resolution - Public Hearing on Petition to Vacate ROWI'uuLISH: Port Orchard Independent October 23, 1991 RESOLUTION NO. 1 588 v-, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, A. jt WASHINGTON, FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF ROCKWELL AVENUE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, Washington, as follows: THAT a Public Hearing on a Petition to Vacate a portion of Rockwell Avenue further described as follows, is hereby fixed for Tuesday, November 12, 1991 at 8:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, Washington. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: That portion of Rockwell Avenue fronting Lots 22 to 27 inclusive, and fronting the south 2 feet of Lot 28 in Block 5 of the Plat of Sweany's 2nd Addition to Sidney, per plat recorded in Vol. 2 of Plats on Page 18, records of Kitsap County, Washington and situate within the corporate limits of the City of Port Orchard. The aforesaid property is approximately thirty (30') wide and approximately one hundred and forty-five (145') long containing approximately 4,350 square feet. The Petitioner is the owner of an interest in real estate abutting on the above described area. The Petitioner constitutes more than two-thirds of the owners of said portions of abutting property. WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays that proceedings be had hereon for the Vacation of said area of said right-of-way in the manner prescribed by RCW 35.79. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 14th day of October, 1991. LESL E J.
