A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR DBE LIAISON AND
EEO OFFICER.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard supports and
complies with federal and state laws concerning disadvantaged
businesses and equal employment; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Guidelines of the Washington
State Department of Transporation have specific requirements
concerning DBE and EEO requirements on projects funded by WSDOT
and FHWA;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
The employee designated as the City Engineer shall
have the additional responsibility as required in:
Section II-6-02.01 and is appointed the Disadvantaged
Business Enterprises (DBE) Officer; and
Section II-07-01 and is designated as the Equal
Employment Officer (EEO).
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port
Orchard, APPROVED by the mayor and attested by the Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 9th day of December, 1991.
