A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE
A PORTION OF ALDER LANE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Orchard, Washington, as follows:
THAT a Public Hearing on the petition to Vacate a portion of
Alder Lane further described as follows, is hereby fixed for Monday, March
12, 1990 at 7:45 PM in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 216 Prospect
Street, Port Orchard, Washington.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: That portion of the northeast quarter of
the southeast quarter of Section 34, T24N, R1E, W.M., in the City of Port
Orchard, Kitsap County, WA., more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of above said subdivision; thence along
the east line of said subdivision S 00 50'59" W - 232.32 feet; thence S 58
20'06" W 206.01 feet; thence S 43 50'06"W - 26.75 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence S 46 09'54" E -- 30.00 feet to the northerly most
corner of parcel described in deed under Auditor's File No. 7807250113;
thence along the northwest line of said parcel, S 43 50'06" W 303.07 feet;
thence along the west line of said parcel, S 00 50'06" W - 38.90 feet to
point on the north margin of right of way of Tremont Street; thence
westerly on said margin of road, along a 746.20 foot radius curve to the
left, the center of which bears S 11 17'02" E, with a central angle of 8
31150", for an arc distance of 111.10 feet to point that bears S 43 50'06"
W from the true point of beginning; thence N 43 50'06" E 427.04 feet to
the true point of beginning.
The aforesaid, is approximately thirty feet (30') wide and
approximately three hundred and fifty feet (350') long containing
approximately 10,500 square feet.
The Petitioner is the owner of an interest in real estate
abutting on the above described area.
The Petitioner constitute more than two-thirds of the owners
of said portions of abutting property.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays that proceedings be had hereon for
the Vacation of said area of said right-of-way in the manner prescribed by
RCW 35.79.
