RESOLUTION NO. 1557
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard was formed on
September 2, 1890, in accordance with the Laws of the State of
Washington as of 1890; and,
WHEREAS, the Committee for Deferred Compensation in
accordance with RCW 41.04.250; administers the deferred
compensation plan for the employees of the State of Washington as
outlined in WAC 154; and,
WHEREAS, The City of Port Orchard, has reviewed the
State plan and agrees to accept all terms and conditions of the
State plan as established and as hereafter amended; and,
WHEREAS, The City of Port Orchard understands and
agrees that all monies deferred by its employees remain the
property of The City of Port Orchard.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that The City of Port
Orchard request approval by the Committee for Deferred
Compensation to participate in the aforementioned deferred
compensation plan for the employees of The City of Port Orchard,
subject to the requirements of RCW 41.04.250 and WAC 154.
