A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON A PETITION FOR A VACATION OF AN UNNAMED
ALLEY IN BLOCK 18 OF THE PLAT OF S.M. STEVENS'
TOWN PLAT OF SIDNEY.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Orchard, Washington, as follows:
THAT a Public Hearing on the petition for Vacation of a
portion of an unnamed alley in Block 18 of the Plat of S.M.
Stevens' Town Plat of Sidney further described as follows, is
hereby fixed for Monday, August 14, 1989 at 7:45 PM in the City
Council Chamber, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard,
Washington.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Attachment "A"
The aforesaid portion of an unnamed alley in Block 18
of the Plat of S.M. Stevens' Town Plat of Sidney is sixteen feet
(16') wide and one 'hundred fifty feet (150') long containing
approximately 2,400 square feet.
The Petitioner is the owner of an interest in real
estate abutting on the above described area.
The Petitioner constitute more than two-thirds of the
owners of said portions of abutting property.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays that proceedings be had
hereon for the Vacation of said area of said right-of-way in the
manner prescribed by RCW 35.79.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard,
APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication
of such passage tlhis 10th day of July, 1989.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: That portion of an unnamed alley in
Block 18 of the Plat of S.M. Stevens' Town Plat of Sidney, as
reocreded in Vol. 1 of Page 1 of Plats, Records of Kitsap County,
Washington, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Block 18, Lot 2 of
said plat, being the point of beginning of this description; thence
east along the south line common to Lots 2 and 7 of said block 18,
150 feet more or less, to the bottom of an unnamed ravine; thence
following the bottom of said ravine south 16 feet more or less, to
a point on the north line common to Lots 3 and 6 of said block 8;
thence west along said north line, 160 feet more or less to the
northwest corner of Lot 3 of said block 18; thence north along the
east right of way line. of Austin Avenue as depicted on said plat,
16 feet to the point of beginning.
