A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN
MUNICIPAL AGREEMENTS WITH WASHINGTON STATE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FEDERAL
FUNDING TO INSTALL GUARDRAILS ON RESIDENTIAL
STREETS.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard has been selected for
funding by the Washington State Department of Transportation for new
guardrails.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PORT ORCHARD, THAT:
The Mayor is authorized to sign the municipal agreements with
Washington State Department of Transportation for the design and construction
of guardrails at the following locations:
1. The corner of Kitsap Street and Rockwell Avenue
2. The curve of Prospect Street
3. Along Farragut Avenue between Guy Wetzel Street and Mahan
Street.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard,
APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 27th day of November, 1989.
