1480 - Resolution - Public Hearing on Petition to Vacate Portion of AlleyRESOLUTION NO. 1480 L/ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION FOR A VACATION OF A PORTION OF AN ALLEY WAY IN THE 400 BLOCK BETWEEN DWIGHT AND DEKALB STREETS. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, Washington, as follows: THAT a Public Hearing on the petition for Vacation of a portion of Dwight and DeKalb Streets further described as follows, is hereby fixed for Monday, April 25, 1988 at 7:45 PM in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, Washington. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 24, RANGE 1 EAST, W.M., IN KITSAP COUNTY. THAT ALLEY PARALLEL TO DEKALB AND DWIGHT STREETS WHICH ORGINATES ON THE EAST MARGIN OF HARRISON AND EXTENDS 85 FEET EASTWARD. The aforesaid portion of an alley is sixteen feet (16') wide and eight -five feet (851) long containing 1,360 square feet. The Petitioner is the owner of an interest in real estate abutting on the above described area. The Petitioner constitute more than two-thirds of the owners of said portions of abutting property. WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays that proceedings be had hereon for the Vacation of said.area of said right-of-way in the manner prescribed by RCW 35.79.
