AylwardRESOLUTION NO. 1484 / A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO FATHER FREDERICK R. AYLWARD FOR A SPECIFIC USE OF A PARCEL OF PROPERTY WHICH IS IN HARMONY WITH THE VARIOUS ELEMENTS OR OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND IS NOT DETRIMENTAL TO EXISTING USES PERMITTED IN THAT PARTICULAR ZONE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: THAT: Whereas the City Planning Commission has held the required public hearings in accordance with the criteria set forth in Chapter 5 (Special Use Permits) of Ordinance No. 1163, Zoning Ordinance of the City of Port Orchard, and; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended approval of the application by Father Frederick R. Aylward, and has recorded with the City Clerk their decision setting forth their findings and recommendations. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard does adopt.Planning Commission Resolution No. 99-88, with Findings and Facts, Conclusions and Condition, as their own, and does hereby approve the issuance of a Special Use Permit to allow a church and parsonage at 1255 Pottery Avenue, as submitted by Father Fredrick R. Aylward in accordance with the conditions imposed by Ordinance No. 1163, Chapter 5. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 35, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M., the West half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M., in Kitsap County, Washington; Except the North 210 Feet; Except the South 218 feet; and Except the West 15 feet from County Road No. 76.
