A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION FOR A
VACATION OF A PORTION OF TAYLOR
STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Port Orchard, Washington, as follows:
THAT a Public Hearing on the petition for
Vacation of a portion of Taylor Street further described
as follows, is hereby fixed for Monday, December 14, 1987
at 8:15 PM in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 216
Prospect Street, Port Orchard, Washington.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
That portion of Taylor Street adjoining Lot
18, Block l a-nd Lot 1, Block 8, Tom Cline's
Addition to Sidney, according to the plat
recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, Page 29,
records of Kitsap County, Washington, which
lies easterly of Bethel Road (SR-160) and
lies west of the east line projected south of
said Lot 18
The aforesaid alley is sixty feet (60') wide
and one hundred twenty four feet (1241) long containing
7,440 square feet.
The Petitioners are the owners of an interest
in real estate abutting on the above described area.
The Petitioners constitute more than
two-thirds of the owners of said portions of abutting
property.
WHEREFORE, Petitioners pray that proceedings
be had hereon for the Vacation of said area of said
right-of-way in the manner prescribed by RCW 35.79.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of
Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the
Clerk in authentication of such passage this 9th day of
November, 1987.
