1419 - Resolution - Permanent Secretrial PositionsRESOLUTION 1419 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD CREATING PERMANENT SECRETARIAL POSITIONS WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, FIRE DEPART- MENT, MUNICIPAL COURT AND CITY CLERK'S OFFICE THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: THAT: Whereas, the Port Orchard City Council recognizes the need for personnel for secretarial/clerical functions of all departments within the City, and WHEREAS, the City Clerk has recommended the permanent positions with the Police Department, Fire Department, Municipal Court and the "Floating" secretarial position to serveall City Departments as needed. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Port Orchard City Council does hereby create the following positions (1) Police Department Secretary (2) Fire Department Secretary, (3) Municipal Court Secretary (4) City Secretary, (to be available to all City Departments as needed, under the jurisdiction of the City Clerk.) These positions will be full-time permanent positions with the following salary schedule: $5.35 Date of Hire 5.78 After 6 months 6.20 After 1 year 6.60 After 2 years 7.02 After 3 years 7.43 After 4 years 7.83 After 5 years PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 28th day of April, 1986.
