A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD REQUESTING D.N.R. RESCIND
EASEMENT A R/W 31554 TO FACILITATE
PORT OF BREMERTON MOORAGE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard seeks
to encourage public access to the shoreline of
Sinclair Inlet and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard has
the easement number A R/W 31554 from the Department
of Natural Resources which is now in conflict with
the Port of Bremerton's proposed new 50-birth
marina and
WHEREAS, the Port of Bremerton has
requested the City to rescind this easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Port Orchard
do hereby request that the Department of Natural
Resources rescind easement A R/W 31554 to allow
construction of the new visitor's moorage facility.
PASSED by the Ci.ty Council and APPROVED
by the Mayor of the City of Port Orchard this 14th
day. of January, 1985.
