Vas j3°ia" WHEREAS, the City Planning Department with the re-
V� commendations of the citizens of Port Orchard and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public meeting
for citizen input and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has incorporated the findings
of the Downtown Waterfront Revitalization Task Force
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard
is desirous of a plan setting forth the future develop-
ment of our Park and Recreational area and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has held the required public
hearing for future public input and,
WHEREAS, the planning staff has proposed a Comprehensive
Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan, the City Council
of the City of Port Orchard do hereby, approve and
certify the Comprehensive Parks, Recreation and Open
Space Plan.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED for the Mayor's
signature this 25th day of April, 1983.,
