A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
CREATING A SECRETARIAL POOL WITHIN THE
CITY CLERK'S OFFICE AND PROVIDING FOR THE
SALARY THEREOF
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE:

THAT: Whereas the Port Orchard City Council
recognizes the need for additional personnel for secretarial/
clerical functions of all departments within the City, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of the Port Orchard
City Council has recommended the creation of a Secretarial
Pool within the Clerk's Office to supply secretarial -clerical
permanent and/or temporary personnel to all City departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Port Orchard
City Council does hereby create a Secretarial Pool within the
City Clerk's Office for providing secretarial personnel to
all City departments as needed.
Secretarial Pool positions may be permanent full-
time positions or temporary and/or part-time as approved
by the City Council. Salary is to commence at Five Dollars
($5.00) per hour.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the
Mayor this 23rd day of January, 1984.
