The following is a summary of an Ordinance approved by the Port Orchard City Council at their
regular Council meeting held November 8, 1999.
ORDINANCE NO. 1776
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, PROHIBITING TATOO PARLORS FROM
APPLYING TATOOS TO A MINOR AND PROVING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATION.
Copies of Ordinance No. 1776 are available for review at the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Port Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text
of the Ordinance will be mailed to any interested person without charge. Thirty
days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1776 will be provided at a nominal
charge.

ORDINANCE NO. 1776
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT WASHINGTON, PROHIBITING
TATOO PARLORS FROM APPLYING TATOOS TO A MINOR AND
PROVIDING PENALITIES FOR VIOLATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following section of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and any
amendments thereto, are hereby adopted by reference as a portion of the criminal code of the City of Port
Orchard as if fully set forth herein: RCW 26.28.085 Applying tattoo to a minor — Penalty.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 81h day of November 1999.
