ORDINANCE NO. 1634
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
ADOPTING THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD 1995 COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard seeks to be in compliance with the
goals, policies, and procedures of the Growth Management Act, and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes in good planning for the benefit
of all its citizens, both present and future, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council wish to proactively direct and
plan the future development of the City, and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Port Orchard have labored for almost four
years and selflessly devoted countless hours to craft this new Plan and attended
more than 50 public meetings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD, WASHINGTON THAT: The Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby
adopt the 1995 Comprehensive Plan to guide the future development of the City.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by
the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 12th
day of June, 1995.

ORDINANCE NO. 1634
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON ADOPTING
THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD 1995 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
Copies of Ordinance No. 1634 are available for review at the office of the City Clerk of the City
of Port Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance will be mailed
to any interested person without charge. Thirty days after publication, copies of Ordinance No.
1634 will be provided at a nominal charge.
