1642 - Ordinance - Adopting the 1996 BudgetORDINANCE NO. 1642 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1996 AND LEVYING A TAX SUFFICIENT TO RAISE $519,691 FOR CURRENT EXPENSE PURPOSES AND $360,085 FOR STREET PURPOSES. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the proposed budget of the City of Port Orchard for the year 1996, as prepared, be and the same is hereby adopted in its entirety. Section 2. That there be and hereby is levied against all of the real estate and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Port Orchard, not exempt from taxation, a tax sufficient to raise a total of $879,776. Section 3. That there be levied a tax sufficient to raise $519,691 for Current Expense purposes and $360,085 for Street purposes. Section 4.
