1601 - Ordinance - Amending Ordinance 1538 Planting Materials for Fire StationORDINANCE NO. 1601 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1538 BY RESCINDING CONDITION NO. 8 WHICH REQUIRED INSTALLATION OF PLANTING MATERIALS BEFORE BUILDING OCCUPANCY FOR FIRE STATION NO. 1 AT 200 TREMONT STREET, (City of Port Orchard, Owner of Record). WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1538 approved a land use reclassification for the construction of Fire Station No. 1, located at 20Q Tremont Street, with eight conditions, and WHEREAS, The City of Port Orchard, subsequently petitioned the City Council of the City of Port Orchard to rescind Condition No. 8, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard held a public hearing on January 24, 1994 to hear testimony and public input on the request to rescind Condition No. 8 which requires installation of planting materials before building occupancy, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard concluded that rescinding Condition No. 8 would not be detrimental to the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: That Condition No. -8 of Ordinance No. 1538 is hereby rescinded.
