AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, CORRECTING
ERRORS RELATING TO ULID NO. 1
ASSESSMENT AMOUNTS; AMENDING SECTION
2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1237; SUPERSEDING
SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1268; AND
AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO.
1249.
WHEREAS, various errors in the assessment roll
for Utility Local Improvement District No. 1 ("ULID No. 1")
have been brought to the attention of the City Council,
relating to properties listed in Exhibits A and B attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to correct
these errors;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN, as follows:
SECTION 1. The assessments against the
properties in ULID No. 1 listed on Exhibits A and B (attached
and incorporated hereto by reference) are hereby adjusted and
reduced in the manner shown thereon.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1237 is
amended to read as follows:
Section 2. The assessments and assessment roll
of Utility Local Improvement District No. 1,
which has been created and established for the
purposes of carrying out the plan of additions to
the betterments and extensions of the waterworks
utility of the City specified and adopted by
Ordinance No. 1220 of the City, as provided by
Ordinance No. 1231, as the same now stand after
the modifications made in Section 1 hereof, be
and the same are in all things and respects
approved and confirmed in the total amount of
$5,336,420.21.
SECTION 3. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1268,
passed March 26, 1984, is superseded by Section 2 of this
ordinance.
SECTION 4. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1249 is
amended to read as follows:
Section 1. The assessments and assessment roll
of omitted properties in Utility Local
Improvement District No. 1, which has been
created and established for the purpose of
carrying out the plan of additions and
betterments and extension of the waterworks
utility of the City specified and adopted by
Ordinance No. 1220 of the City, as provided by
Ordinance No. 1231, shall be, and the same are in
all things and respects approved and confirmed in
the total amount of $34,023.75.
SECTION 5. All actions of the City of Port
Orchard, its officers or employees heretofore taken in
conformance with this ordinance are hereby ratified and
confirmed.
