AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 844
RELATING TO THE ADVANCE TRAVEL
EXPENSE REVOLVING FUND (Port Orchard
Municipal Code, Chapter 3.08)
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 THAT the Port Orchard Municipal Cod --
Section 3.08.010 is amended to read as follows:
3.08.010 Fund established. There is established
a revolving fund for the city for the sole purpose of making
advance payment of travel expenses incurred by officers and
employees of the city. The revolving fund shall be known as
"advance travel expense revolving fund" and will be maintained
at the Kitsap County Bank as a checking account, and advances
to the city officials or employees will be by check. The city
clerk is designated custodian of the fund. The revolving fund
is to be replenished by warrant. The maximum amount to be
retained in the fund at any one time is fixed at five hundred
dollars and the maximum amount that may be used to pay for
travel expenses incurred by any one officer or employee of the
city is five hundred dollars.
