AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
CREATING A FUND TO BE KNOWN AS "STATE
LAND PURCHASE TRUST FUND" FOR HANDLING
PAYMENTS INTO ESCROW ACCOUNT AS SET FORTH
BY CONTRACT WITH WASHINGTON STATE VETERANS
AFFAIRS TO PURCHASE JOINT SEWER TREATPIENT
PLANT PROPERTY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created a Trust Fund
to be known as the "State Land Purchase Trust Fund" into
which the purchase payments are to be placed.
SECTION 2. The Treasurer of the City of Port
Orchard is hereby directed to transfer $87,600. from the
Wastewater Treatment Facilities Construction Fund to the
State Land Purchase Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. These monies purchased the Joint
Sewer Treatment Plant property from the State Department of
Veteran Affairs. Monies are to be held until May 5, 1990
when funds will be used.to pay for waste disposal services
charged to the State of Washington.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port
Orchard and APPROVED for the Mayors signature this 14th day
of May, 1984.
