AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
AMENDING CITY OF PORT ORCHARD COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN ORDINANCE NO. 895; BY AMENDING THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES
THEREIN
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Roland and Roland, Inc. owner of record,
has initiated a comprehensive plan ordinance amendment
requesting reclassification of property described in said
petition, and all legal requirements have been performed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard Planning Commission
has transmitted to the Council of the City of Port Orchard their
findings and recommendations that the Comprehensive Plan Map
be amended for the reasons stated therein;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED that the City Council
of the City of Port Orchard does hereby adopt the findings and
recommendations of the Port Orchard Planning Commission as it'
own and does hereby reclassify certain property, located in
the northwest corner of Hovde Road and State Route 16 from
Residential Low to Commercial Highway.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The Northeast Quarter of
the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 11
Township 23 North, Range 1 East, W.M.; EXCEPT the Southeast
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
Lying Northerly and Easterly of County Road, EXCEPT Highway
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the
Mayor of the City of Port Orchard this 23rd day of July, 1984.
