1247 - Ordinance - Amending Ordinance No. 1125 and 1152 POMC 9.26 Traffic Fines, Parking Violations and ObstructingORDINANCE NO. 1247 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Ordinance No. 1125§2(part)(Chapter 9.26 Port Orchard Municipal Code, FALSE INFORMATION); Ordinance No. 1152§5(Chapter 10.20 Port Orchard Municipal Code, TRAFFIC FINES); Ordinance No. 115254(Chapter 10.20 Port Orchard Municipal Code, PARKING VIOLATIONS); and Ordinance No. 1125§2(part)(Chapter 9.12 Port Orchard Municipal Code, OBSTRUCTING). THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Port Orchard Municipal Code Section 9.36.120 is amended to read as follows: 9.36.120 False Information. It is unlawful for any person to give false or misleading information: (1) in applying for the Purchase or otherwise secur- ing delivery of a pistol or other firearm, or (2) in applying for a license to carry a Pistol or other concealed weapon. Section 2. That Port Orchard Municipal Code Section 10.20.010 is amended to read as follows: 10.20.010 Disposition of Traffic Fines and Forfeitures. All fines or forfeitures collected unon a determination that a traf- fic infraction was committed or upon the forfeiture of bail of anv person cited with a violation of any of the provisions of this arti- cle, shall be paid into the general fund of the city. Section 3. That Port Orchard Municipal Code Section 10.20.030 is amended to read as follows: 10.20.030 Violation -- Penalty. Unless another penalty is expressly provided by 1aw in the P9T0 or in the statutes that are adopted by reference therein, the following monetary penalty schedule shall be used: 1) Improper Parking $ 5.00 2) Prohibited Parking 5.00 3) Handicapped Parking 50.00 4) Loading Zone 5.00 5) Bus/Taxi Zone 5.00 6) Port dock 5.00 7) Parking for Displav or 5.00 Sale of Goods or vehicle 2) Improper Parking on 5.00 One-S-7ay Street 9) Overtime Parking 5.00 Section 4. That Port Orchard Municipal Code Section 9.12.010 is amended to read as follows: 9.12.010 Obstructing a Public Officer. A person is guilty of obstructing a public officer if he/she knowingly hinders, -1- delays or obstructs any public officer in the discharge of his offi- cial duties.
