AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1152 SECTION 10
(Port Orchard Municipal Code Chapter
10.08.020) INCREASING SPEED LIMITS ON
CERTAIN STREETS
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
ORDAIN THAT:
3 _ p3/ d }�� )0-q Section 1. Ordinance No. 1152, Section 10 (Port
Orchard Municipal Code, Section 10.08.020) is hereby amended to
read as follows:
SECTION 10 INCREASE IN SPEED LIMIT
It is hereby determined on the basis of an engineering
and traffic investigation, pursuant to RCW 46.61.415, that the
speed permitted by state law within those streets and inter-
sections described below should be increased during the times
specified:
(a) Tremont Street from west city limits to Howard
Street thirty-five miles per hour at all times;
(b) Sidney Street from Tremont Street to primary
State Highway No. 16, thirty-five miles per hour at all times;
(c) Bethel Avenue (Old Gig Harbor Highway) from it's
intersection with primary State Highway No. 160, to the South
City limits thirty-five miles per hour at all times;
(d) Port Orchard Boulevard, on all that portion five
hundred feet from it's intersection with primary State Highway
No. 160 to five hundred feet from it's intersection with Tremont
Street, thirty-five miles per hour at all times;
(e) Sedgwick Road from the East City limits to the
West City limits, thirty-five miles per hour at all times.
(f) Pottery Avenue from it's intersection with
Tremont Street to the South City limits, thirty-five miles per
hour at all times except during school hours 7:00 A.M. to
3:00 P.M..
