AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
RELATING TO AND PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD.
WHEREAS, The City of Port Orchard owns Tract 14,
Port Orchard Villa Tracts, Volume 4 of Plats, Page 100,
Kitsap County, Washington; and
WHEREAS, the property is situate abutting City
boundary; and
WHEREAS, the Kitsap County Boundary Review Board
does declare that review of the above referenced property
is not necessary and the Board shall not invoke the Boards
jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the City has no definite plans as to
it's ultimate use and it would be untimely at this time
to prepare a Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it, and it hereby is ordained
by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard as follows:
Section I. THAT the following described territory
contiguous to the City of Port Orchard be, and the same
hereby is annexed to the City of Port Orchard and from and
after the effective date of this ordinance, shall be and
become subject to all the Laws and Ordinances thereof, the
said territory being more particularly defined as follows:
Tract 14, Port Orchard Villa Tracts,
Volume 4 of Plats, Page 100, Kitsap
County, Washington.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the
Mayor this 26th day of October, 1981.
