AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1011 (SECTION
�d (, 7.04.105) OF THE PORT ORCHARD MUNICIPAL CODE, ON
THE KEEPING OF ANIMALS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section I of Ordinance No. 1011 (Section 7.04.105
of the Port Orchard Municipal Code) is hereby amended to read as
follows:
It is unlawful for an owner or keeper of all animals such
as goats, horses, mules, cattle, swine or other livestock to
keep it or them upon property less than one acre, or house,
corral or pen it or them in an area less than fifty (50) feet
from any adjacent property line.
SECTION II. There exists, and is hereby declared to exist,
an emergency; and this ordinance is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the
citizens of Port Orchard, and shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon passage and publication.
