A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING THE 2022 CITY COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO
POMC 2.04.010 MEETING TIME AND PLACE.
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2017, City Council adopted Ordinance No. 026-17 which adopted the
classification of non -charter code city for the City of Port Orchard; and
WHEREAS, on pursuant to Port Orchard Municipal Code 2.04.010 Meeting Time and Place the city
council shall hold a minimum of one meeting per month. The city council shall determine the annual
schedule for these meetings for the next calendar year no later than the last regular business meeting of the
preceding calendar year; and
WHEREAS, City Council typically will meet for regular business meetings the 2nd and 4t" Tuesday of
each month, with a work study meeting the 3`d Tuesday of each month; and
WHEREAS, the meeting in August will only be held on the 2nd Tuesday, and the meeting in
December will be the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday that month, and both meetings to be Regular Council meetings;
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
THAT: The 2022 city council meeting calendar shall be adopted, and meetings shall be held on:
